Hi all. I have a small golf swing analyzer device that is not made or serviced anymore. I found the battery I need but have only been able to find a place in China that will sell me min of 5 @ $15 each plus nearly $100 dollars for shipping.

It is 3.7V 200mAh LP551530 32x15x6mm

What can I easily find that can be used as a replacement? Would consider routing leads outside of the device to an external battery

Is there a similar battery with different specs that would also work?

Anyhow, thanks for any advice (tried to upload pics but it didn't work)

You can pick up an 18650 cell anywhere that sells those horrendous vaping things.
Thing is you'll probably need a charger to suit and some form of battery case, most available at local electronics stores.
You don't give much detail on your application so reply detail is limited.
Photos normally will not upload if they are to large, try resizing.

Googling "3.7V 200mAh" gets several hits for cheaper online sources.

I'd get your "Google " checked as first up came this....many others also.

Actually, for US$6.00 you can get 4 of them.

It's the size I'm having a problem finding. Unless I can figure out a way to drill a hole in the white case for the leads and secure the battery externally. Being that it's on a golf club that could prove difficult.

You do not know if the complex charging circuit is separate, in the battery or in the product. It is complex to prevent the battery from exploding or causing a fire.
You also do not know if the battery or product has a complex "protection circuit" to sense low voltage and disconnect the battery so that it does not die from low voltage.

That type of battery is used in many radio controlled airplanes and drones and you can see if a local hobby store can match your old battery to a new one for less than $10 US.

Thanks. Appreciate the lead on going to the hobby/RC route. I’ll see what’s around town

Local hobby shops do tend to charge like scrub bulls so don't expect it for $10.

I did not look through the entire list of batteries but the local hobby store near me sells at least two 200mAh Li-PO batteries for $6.99 Canadian. They might be less than $5.00 in the USA. I do not know the sizes.
