Hi,

I didn't have much luck searching the web for a good
hard-to-find semiconductors source.

My latest effort is trying to find 2SK3075 for a Yaesu FT1500M
transceiver I am servicing for a "ham" radio operator customer.
Trying to get parts from Yaesu is a waste of time.

Do you know of a good source?

Thanks in advance, Brad

2SK series is rare, at least here in Canada because almost nobody sells
Toshiba transistors. I know registered Sony repair shops can order these
transistors, but price is steep on some models (i.e. 3313).

I believe the Australian service agents for Yaesu are Dick Smith
Electronics (www.dse.com.au). I know DSE will ship kits overseas.
Perhaps they will also entertain parts requests. Click on "Contact Us"
on the DSE home page. If you have any trouble, let me know and I'll
try to order the part through my local store.

You might be able to get it from Radio Shack. The 2SK3075 is used in
one of their transceivers, catalog # 190-1108. Go to the Radio Shack
web site www.radioshack.com and enter 190-1108 in the search box. You
will get a list of downloadable documents. Click on "Detailed Parts
List" and you will see part Q201 shown as a 2SK3075. There is a Radio
Shack part # and a 1-800 number at the top of the page for orders.

Hope this helps,
