ha ha. If you fix a hdd you'll be lucky if you can read it once & get
the data off.

If you don't do it in a cleanroom, reliability will be destroyed.

Swapping the circuit board is good advice. Cracking open to expose the
platters is terrible advice.

I think an arc welder set to it's highest power would work better than
the torch !!!
