I know this is my first post, but googling this has been a pain. First off, I'm building a guitar and am wiring it up. Here is what I'm using:

EMG H4/H4A (solderless, http://www.emgpickups.com/search/wiring [type in "H4" to get the .pdf instructions)

Seymour Duncan Liberator Pot (http://www.seymourduncan.com/blog/n...em-part-1-the-two-minute-pickup-change-video/)

3-Way Toggle Switch (it only has 3 terminals, not 4, http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electro...3-way_Pickup_Switches/Right-angle_Switch.html)

Here's what I did: I soldered the 3 colored wires of each pickup to the appropriate terminal on the 3-way-selector. I then took the center terminal, and wired it like so to the Pot: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=LB1_1v_LBVOL. I then did the same with the output to the jack.

Problem is that the guitar isn't making a sound, like the pickups aren't picking anything up. What I plan to do when I can is unsolder the pickups, put them in the Pot as shown in that diagram, and then I guess take the two edge wires (the Pot has a whole slew of wires hanging down from it) and connect them to the selector.

Will that work? I was working with 3 different diagrams so . . . if I just connect the pickups directly to the Pot, and connect the pot to the output, will it work? Also, with my right-angle switch, it only has 3 terminals, so is the ground and hot the same terminal? I'm really a "noob" at this type of stuff, but since it deals with circuits and stuff, I figured this would be the best place to come to.

And also, I wanna make sure there is no hum and stuff, so anything to help out with that. All that's in my back cavity of the instrument is the Pot and switch.
