    I have completed my engineering in electronics stream.
    I am confused wether to do ME/MTECH or to opt for some certified courses .
    Can anyone guide me what to do next?

    Decide what you WANT to do for the rest of your working life, and route your studies toward that discipline.
    My son had a choice of directing his studies toward computer programming, or computer hardware architecture;
    two different disciplines. Like you, he had to chose which one he liked to do.
    Check into what the ME vs. MTECH fields actually do, and decide which one of those you LIKE to do personally.

    I agree. This is what I typed a couple of hours ago but didn't post :(

    Where are you studying? (Is that where you want to work?)

    In what study area are there the best job opportunities?

    Are you vastly more interested in one career path over another?

    How much competition will you face in the job market?

    These are some of the questions I might ask myself.

    I am in Canada and I would not ask about job opportunities in India which is completely different. I think this guy should ask in India, not here.

    This forum is based in the UK, it is as valid in India just as much as Canada.
