Latest iPhones all have GPS/GLONASS. For trying out a “finding your way with GPS” project described on recent Make magazine, I would like to try out using latest GPS/GLONASS technology if possible. Doing Google search, there are many GPS module choices available, yet only this programmable one turn up: As it’ll ship only in end of March, my question is: does GPS/GLONASS give significant advantage over GPS and worth waiting for?

with the addition of GLONASS you get a whole bunch more satellites
    this has 2 advantages
    1) you are always likely to "see" more satellites in total
    2) and more satellites means more accuracy

If you are not in a rush to do the project ... wait :)
