how do u put a snowmobile engine in a go cart. how do u hook up the
clutching?????


What does this have to do with electronics?

Try rec.crafts.metalworking instead. I'm not familiar with snowmobile
engines myself, but if you can describe the engine or post some
pictures, I can probably make a few suggestions.

It depends on the go-cart itself as to the type of engine.
If it's a simple tube steel frame with a simple sprocket drive rear
axle you'll want a horizontal shaft engine. Preferably a four stroke
in the 5-9 hp range.
Power transmission is done by way of a drive chain and an centrifical
clutch off the main shaft of the engine.
The clutch can be gotten at any small engine shop or cycle/scooter
shop.
