Hello

I am trying to fix my cruise control.

The cruise control needs velocity information, this could be fetched from a
separately mounted tachometer, speedometer .

I am trying to fetch it from the car radio, because the car radio receives
velocity information ( because the radio adjusts the sound volume according
to the speed)

The signals I am receiving from the car radio have a frequency that is
proposjonal with the velocity.

Frequency = velocity * 4

Ex. : a velocity = 100kmh gives a signal with frequency = 400 Hz

I am not sure if the signal has a digital form, but the voltage varies
between 0 and 12 volt

The cruise control accepts frequencies between 0 and 150 Hz.

I am trying to find a solution on how to make a frequency converter /
divider

Is there anyone that has an idea?

What kind of car?

Opel Zafira

But the CC is not mounted original,
It is a Waeco cruise control MS-50
