Freeloader problem please?

Hello All.
Have one of these basic Freeloader Solar Chargers, which I have been using for over a year, to charge my Nokia phone when required.

Suddenly, I plug it into my phone and after a short pause, message comes up on phone :-
Stop Not Charging.

Borrowed sisters identical Freeloader and adaptor for substitution test, this works fine.

Can anyone please advise if there is a known fault with these units which would cause this problem?

Probably a circuit problem, but something to check first:
My daughter had this problem, and it turned-out to be the connector plug from the charger that connects to the phone itself. You might inspect the connector for possible damage.

Many thanks for your reply. Interested to note someone else has had the same problem.

Have aleady swapped adaptors and phones, problem persists. Unit appears to have gone faulty, hense the original post.
