Free VCR and camcorder service manuals

Hi all,

We have eight or ten 4-drawer filing cabinets full of service manuals
that are looking for a new home. About half are VCR's, the other half
camcorders. They cover mostly the mid 80's to mid 90's, a few as late
as '98 or '99. I prefer someone take them as a lot, but if you want
just the camcorder or VCR manuals separately, that's fine as well.
Otherwise, they go to the landfill, probably toward the end of the
month. They are located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, approx 20 miles
north of Detroit.

Again, these are complete cabinets containing many hundreds, perhaps
thousands of factory service manuals and must be picked up. I would
think someone within reasonable drive could rent/borrow a U-haul or
other box/stake type truck to transport them. Of course, I realize the
demand for VCR/camcorder service has diminished, but somehow i just
can't bring myself to throw them out.

BTW, the camcorder manuals cover most brands including Canon, JVC,
Minolta, Pentex, NAP, RCA, Mitsubishi, Sharp, Zenith, etc. Sony is
somewhat limited (mostly the earlier CCD-Vxx series). Email if you
want more specifics.

Thanks,
Alan Harriman
