free cloud or open source schematic tool

    Looking for a free or open source schematic tools. Notice a few cloud based tools but they have subscriptions. What are some recommendations?

    Digikey provides a pretty simple one at no cost.

    If it's just for drawing schematics, LTspice (freeware from Linear Technology) is easy to use. And you get a buckshee circuit simulator thrown in ;).

    DIP-TRACE is quite good. Lots of components, a few of us use this on here.
