Flat screen TV vs. curved?

i am in the market to buy a 24" or 25" TV to be used a lot with my
WebTV.

Which is best? Advantages or disadvantages?

Any brands better than others?

Thanks for any help.

i cannot buy a 27" as it won't fit in my entertainment center!

Why not go LCD, should find a nice cheap one for your cabinet size.
