Does any one have any links to the current (or future) state of
display technology?

I'm trying to find out what the best material would be for the
following specifications:

- durable
- low power
- switching speed can be slow, display will mostly be static
- ideally full color, but reduced color or even black and white is
acceptable
- low cost
