First amplifier build

Hey I want to build this amplifier for a first build. A 200 watt Marshall major. I would do a super lead or a bass breaker but those are far more complex and I dont want and simple fender amps. Can someone tell me what im gonna get myself into, approx cost, and where to start

If by first build you mean your first electronics assembly project, you are umping in way out there toward the deep end of the pool. Starting with a heavy and stiff chassis, you have to punch several different sizes of large holes for the tube sockets. Also, the transformers were almost certainly custom-designed for this amp. If you can find close-enough equivalents through distribution they will be heavy and expensive.

There are many tube amp project sites where people have documented their design and build. Go through a few of them to get a better feel for the challenges ahead.
