    Hi all,
I recently ordered MOSFETs for my project from Texas instruments. After the arrival of the package, I noticed that I had wrongly ordered their ultra small mosfet package which they call as 'femtofet'. They are too small to solder and I am still finding a way to do that . Is there any suggestions that I could try out to solder wires to those pins. I have attached the dimension details and an image of the mosfet . IMG_20200609_194416.JPG IMG_20200609_195439.JPG
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

As the part is only 0.75 X 0.75 mm , you can not use them to solder wires to them.
They are soldered directly to the PCB, likely using a hotplate.

For better pictures, try to use the macro function of the phone.
Here is an example of some SMD parts.
The 1822 resistors are 2 mm and the diode is 3 mm:

Thanks for the reply. Since I don't have a hot air gun and the package does not have leads, is there any method to solder this on a pcb?

    Hello,

    What does the datasheet say?
It has likely a temperature diagram for a flow oven.

I don't think they have mentioned any temperature diagram for the reflow oven.
This is the part no. :csd25501f3
Is there any other way I can do it since I don't have access to any sophisticated equipments.
I tried heating the traces of the pcb after applying solder on to the pad but successful destroyed both the pcb and the component. Will this method be worth a second try or am I doing it the wrong way?

Thanks for sharing this . Is there any way I can do this reflow method at home ?
