(v) Scanning receiver. For the purpose of this part, this is a receiver that
automatically switches among two or more frequencies in the range of 30 to
960 MHz and that is capable of stopping at and receiving a radio signal
detected on a frequency.

Section 15.247 Operation within the bands 902 - 928 MHz, 2400 - 2483.5 MHz,
and 5725 - 5850 MHz.

(1) Frequency hopping systems shall have hopping channel carrier frequencies
separated by a minimum of 25 kHz or the 20 dB bandwidth of the hopping
channel, whichever is greater. The system shall hop to channel frequencies
that are selected at the system hopping rate from a pseudorandomly ordered
list of hopping frequencies. Each frequency must be used equally on the
average by each transmitter. The system receivers shall have input
bandwidths that match the hopping channel bandwidths of their corresponding
transmitters and shall shift frequencies in synchronization with the
transmitted signals.

(2) Systems using digital modulation techniques may operate in the 902 - 928
MHz, 2400
- 2483.5 MHz, and 5725 - 5850 MHz bands. The minimum 6 dB bandwidth shall be
at least 500 kHz.

Now the FCC states, and recognizes two or more frequencies.
Paul...
Maybe a few more wrongs and you might get one right?

My apologies, earlier I stated the spectrum to be 900 to 938 mhz, it's
actually 902 to 928 mhz.
And also its +/- 10 mhz around the home frequency, just to clarify. Paul
that's 5 above, and 5 below, for your limited thinking.
What else can I clarify for you?
