faulty component

    Hello, I try to fix my car' remote control.I have dropped it into water and looks like the component marked on the picture did go. The mark on component is f 828AD
    A2C1
    9099C
    Please if any one can help me identify it I will appreciate.I know the basic and can not find myself it.:confused:

    If you're lucky, you may be able to clean it and get it working.

    First use distilled water and a toothbrush, then dunk it in isopropyl alcohol (metholated spirits if you're desperate) and allow it to dry.

    The major problems are likely to arise if there is contamination under the IC (that will be hard to remove).

    Remember that it has to be ABSOLUTELY dry before you reapply power. I would leave it in a warm place overnight.

    It's pretty likely the problem is with the switches and they only need to be dried out.

    Hi, the switches have been tested and there are Ok, Thank you
