Faraday cage earth

  1. We intend to use a 4 foot cubical faraday cage for microwave research.
    At this location, there is no safety earth available. What is the
    proven way to make proper earthing system?

  2. Depends on what the cage is for. EMI testing, or HV testing, etc..

    For EMI testing, you can cable over to a place where you can obtain a
    ground.

    For high power RF, a cable should also be appropriate enough.

    Why do you want an earthing system? Faraday cages work
    fine at any potential...
