Fan Motor Part Identification

Hello, I am repairing a faulty floor fan. I did some testing and I found out the capacitor was shot. Plugged it in, nothing. I assumed the motor was clogged up(it was extremely dirty). As I am looking around for any more stray strands of dust I see this, what I believe is a fuse. Can anyone identify it from how broken it is?

It cuts out when temp goes to 115c
