    Hello

I need to know the ESR of the ceramic capacitor from the TDK C series (C3225X7R2A105K)

    It is 1210 50V X7R 1uF

    http://media.digikey.com/PDF/Data ...,1C,1E,1H).pdf

-There is no indication as to what the ESR would be , or as to what the tolerance on ESR may be from a batch of these capacitors.

I also wish to know the ESR at different frquencies, eg 1KHz, 10KHz 100KHz 200KHz

(this cap will be used as a series SEPIC capacitor )

That's an X7R dielectric. This paper has a graph of ESR of various types of ceramic capacitor.

Thankyou Steve, i had seen that before but the graph at the end suggests extremely low esr's for ceramics of 100nF and below.
    - i dont think this is true..or at least , surely it is only so low at 1MHz frequency?

Why? Remember you're talking about resistance, not reactance.
