I had the same feeling when I first saw that website (what to do if the guy
just takes the money?). But after hearing the comments I from someone who
ordered his ESR meter there, I reluctantly decided to take the gamble.
My dealings with EVB did not leave a professional impression of the (one
man) company. I always got prompt and friendly responses on all of my
e-mails, but the payment method (international money transfer order) is
clumsy to say the least. But the most important thing is that the ESR meter
itself is very well build and it was well packaged when it arrived. So for
me the gamble paid off. Even though I don't make that many repairs these
days the ESR meter already has earned itself back.
