  1. Hello:

I have an Emerson EWC1902 Tv/VCR in my shop which is completely dead.
Front panel red LED is dark, no head spin when line cord plugged in,
    nothing.

This unit is built by Funai, and is NOT the type with a separate board
running vertically inside the cabinet. It is a one piece horizontal
board with the VCR deck mounted on it. The only voltages that I can
find on the board are a 42 VDC and a 5.2 VDC and 3.1VDC at the
customer switches. HSams does not publish a Photofact on this model
and I don't have the factory data on it. I have checked as far as I
can without a schematic for capacitor ESR problems, open/high value
resistors, shorted diodes, transistors, etc. Can't get off first base
with it. Any known fixes? Also, if someone could send me a scan of
the power supply area, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
