Email List For Arcade Game Parts

I thought this would be a Great Idea to have an Email list where you can
look for Arcade Game Parts that may be hard to Find....or if you have any
you want to sell.

The List does not allow Attachments, and you have to be approved by the
Owner to be on it, and you have to involved in Coin OP Arcades in some way -
either as a servicer, Owner or Parts Supplier. Its also acceptable to Sell
entire Games, and ask for Troubleshooting or Repair Help.

Purpose = Arcade Game Parts Exchange: (AGPX) - Where Servicers or Owners Of
Coin Operated Video games Meet to Locate Hard to find Repair Parts, or Sell
similar Parts to Other Servicers who have similar needs. Based in the USA,
but members Welcome Worldwide. Only those who have a genuine Interest in
Arcade Game Parts or Repair need join. Parts Suppliers or Distributors of
these Parts are Welcome to Join!

How would this differ from the newsgroups?

Its only for Coin Op Games , and mainly intended for Parts (and hard to
locate parts too). Say someone posts in Usenet, and it goes unanswered, they
can try this as an alternate in some cases. Not everyone who will be in the
Group reads usenet on a daily basis. Some will be members of other Similar
Forums on other Websites who want to expand out a bit into a new group.

Also , probably most importantly, you can post to the List and not expect
TONS of Junkmail to your Inbox immediately thereafter. I have Used Topica
for a Brief Time once before, and recieved little or No unsolicited Email.

You left out a major source of parts - operators. For example no parts list
would be complete without TNT down in Philly.

You are More than Welcome to Forward them The Information. Eventually we
will invite more places like that to come aboard when time permits. I will
add the buzz word 'operators' to the description as per your sugguestion -

So this is only for people in the "biz" and not for the regular collector??

No - Its for anyone who needs Parts or wants to Sell Parts or an entire
Game...or needs Repair assistance or other Related Info etc. Of course , if
you are a business, it helps to let everyone know with a Sig File.
