  1. Out of curiosity, the building i live in has an elevator that is monitored.
    When you push the button, someone calls back on the phone and finds out the
    problem. I was talking to one of the workers and he has the elevator number
    and called it and he can program certain things such as recording, the # is
    dials and basic things. How can the account # and signal defaults be
    changed? Is this usualy done with a programmer or can the installing
    elevator company usualy just call in via software or the phone and reprogram
    this?

    On the ones I've installed, programming is done thru a phone test set on the
    phone connection while it is unplugged from POTS. You'd need the
    instructions for your particular make/model to know how to access
    programming and what the fields are.

    What brands of units are out there that have built in digital dialer and
    allow for callback verification? Any of them reasonably priced?
