Electronics color code

    Hello,

    As you know, many components have color codes.
    Instructables has collected a lot of info:

    When you come accross some vintage components, this picture will help:

    Also you can come accross resistors with EN 60062:2005 coding.
    These will read as followed:

    I hope this will help identifying the components.

    For plain resistors have a look at this page:

    It has also a list of possible colorcodes for E12 and E24.

    For the values of E48, E96 and E192 resistors, have a look at the attached PDF.
