Hi this is my first thread here. My name is David and I know nothing about electronics first off. I am actually a magician and want to build what I think is a basic electronic device, so I found this site and thought I'd see if I could get some help. What I want to build is a lock that is activated by a wireless remote. I suppose a lock where a metal bar would move in and out of a metal small metal housing to release a thin bar that was being held. Does this make sense? I want to attempt to make a tray where one of the handles will break off when I push the wireless device basically. If I could get some pointers and direction on where to start I would much appreciate it. Thank you in advance!!
