So I have this Fujiha F9000 electronic keyboard, which has to be at least 10 years old, so you can't even dream of it being under warranty.
It's been a while after it stopped turning on properly, like the lights in it started flicking on and off and it turned off completely at times, then back on. Now you can't even turn it on

The problem isn't within the circuit or anything like that, but rather the power port. (Already fixed the circuit, worked nicely for a while after that, but soon it required me to hit that sweet spot with the cable, and afterwards it stopped working altogether)

My question is; can you even salvage this. I'm no expert in electronics and it looks pretty damaged to me.20171028_210544.jpg

Fit a new 12v power input socket. Does not have to fit as original or you could wire the 12v cable direct.

The power socket looks quite worn but if it is soldered directly to a printed circuit board (as opposed to being wired by flying leads) then quite often the act of inserting the power plug eventually breaks the tracks of the circuit board and some 'extra solder' (and a good dollop of epoxy glue) can get things working again.

Take it apart and show us the back of the power socket and where/how it's connected.
