Sorry it took me so long to reply. I Did it anyways. It was a car ECU. I hit the board, contacts and it solved my problem. I was having stalling issues, and erratic surging during acceleration. The problem would come and go but was incredibly frustrating. I replaced the IAC as some had suggested but it didn't work. I used QD contact cleaner. It runs great now. I drive a Dodge Stealth, (I also have a 3000GT VR-4...same car) and they are susceptible to having the caps leak. I found no evidence of this when I tore it apart however. I knew there must be some problem with the ECU, because the tach would drop to ZERO when it was stalling but still at some RPM, and would even recover from these zero RPM states. Even though a "pro" that knows these cars basically called me a moron for even considering that the contacts may be my problem and cleaning them would not fix it...that was the solution.
