pls anyone help me by solving this math,:(:(

Problem:
Two point charge +2Q and -Q coulombs are located at (-1,0,0) & (1,0,0) respectively in free space. find
i. Electric field
ii.potential
in XY plane(i.e. z=0)

[Note: for simplify the calculation |Q|=1]

OK, perhaps you can start by telling us what you can figure out for yourself.

I think ur question is incomplete but the formula used is E=kQ/r^2
where in this case r=2 units, K=8.854*10^-12
V=Er
take Q as both Q1 in one case & Q2 in other case

and i solved this problem.i post that problem because of short time of submission, and within short time i wasn't sure at what point i have to go, for this reason i posted that problem. and sorry for disturbing you by posting unusual question.
