I know I can buy cheap meters to do this. I am looking to learn
however. I understand the concepts behind how they work. Pass a
small ac current through a probe with a known area between the poles
and measure the resistance.
I have a probe with a cell constant of 10.
What I am trying to do is build a circuit that takes 5v-12v input dc,
produces the ac that is sent to the probe and then outputs the
resistance converted to a volate in the range of 0-5v.
I have one schematic I tried and doesn't seem to work. I can share
what I have via email with those willing to help.
I have spent days googling and cannot find much on the net.
Thanks in advance.
