DTMF specifications

    Hi,
    I'm building a pc-based DTMF decoder that uses Mitel's MT8870
    integrated decoder chip. But there are two 'versions' of the chip, the
    8870D and the 8870D-1. One is for the BT specification (british telecom),
    and the other for CEPT spec. In Canada, I suppose CEPT is used? Or are
    there really no differences?
