Hello, I am new to this site and it's forums. I am glad I did as I am a hobbyist
My question is;
I have a DSC 5010 version 2.02 gn as I determined from the paper tag attached to the IC next to the 5010 stamp on the board. As it seems, this panel doesn't work with the basic version of the 2002 V 3.2 software I have. To further the notion, I get a window that pops up, after entering the installer code when initiating the link, that says it needs to convert the worksheet as it doesn't work with it and doing so will stop the connection. After clicking on that another window comes up that tells me the version of the panel is not in the software. This is confirmed by looking in one of the drop downs that lists all the panel the software services. It would seem that version 3.2 would be backward compatible.Can someone assist me with either confirming my idea here or help with the proper method to achieve up/down loading. If additional software is required, where can I find it? Thanks
