Old age is setting in... ol' foggy brain can't remember how to
    re-write....

    ______1______
    s^2 + A*s + B

    as a differential equation.

_Analog_ innovations? Doesn't this mean that you have it in a book from
    your 2nd year in College?

    Anyway:

    X 1
    - = ---------------
    U s^2 + A*s + B

    Therefore

    (s^2 + A*s + B)X = U

Reverse Laplace of X is x, R.L of X*s is dx/dt, etc., so

    d^2 d
    ---- x + A --- x + Bx = u
    dt^2 dt

    ta da.

Wanna see that in the z-domain, now?

Yes, I should have been able to do that, but I'm a wee bit slow today.
Drove 12 chanting girl scouts and their leader (my wife) to the
Prescott National Forest to camp yesterday. Driving a 15-passenger
van in a cross-wind plus all that noise really can wear you down ;-)

Only 12 chanting girl scouts? If it were 13 I could understand, but 12?

    I should stop, shouldn't I?
