    Hi,

I've recently seen posts in other forums that refer to double grounds and double positives? Can anyone explain what these are what the benefit of using them would be?

    Thanks

Really a loaded question, can you point to the circuit in question?

Lots of times you will have an analog ground and a digital ground so that you can reduce interference...

And many times you have two positives at different levels, so you can run devices at different voltages...

just to add to coca cola there are times when a design is way to big too connect all the positives together so you can find a few places that have grnd or pos listed. if the voltages are the same and it does not refer to one being digital or analogue you can infer these can be hooked up to the same power source.
