Today I electrocuted myself, and lived to tell the story.

    Please read:

Of course it was my own silly fault for being a cheapskate, however still a timely warning to others out there.

    Have a safe day

well .... you weren't electrocuted .... else you wouldnt be telling the story

instead you received an electric shock.
sounds like time to take it as qa warning to be a bit more careful in future :)

    cheers
    Dave

Be very careful when using adapters to convert from one country's plugs to another.

2 quite safe standards can become an unsafe hazard with the use of the wrong (cheap and/or nasty) adapter.

As a fairly frequent traveller it is something that I am all too aware of.

Just a follow up, I wrote to the seller for sending me the incorrect wall-wart (the original one was supposed to have Australian pins on it)... and the useless tw*t sent the same type again. Argh
