I need to troubleshoot a circuit board haivng a DSPIC30F5013.
Making the continuity measurement on the DSP pins and the chip
resistors on the PCBA, I am worried that I might have introduced ESD
to the PCBA making DSP chip defective in some way.
Can anybody simply explain to me whether ESD has the immediate effect
on the DSPIC if I make measurement without making the Ground potential
of the PCBA and Mutlimeter the same as the potential of my body??
Best Regards
