I have been building a drone in the past few weeks, and a tutorial I have requires a 12A SimonK esc wire, but I accidentally bought 30A wires. I have the same parts that the tutorial asks for except that, so will that difference between 12A and 30A matter? Will it still work?

Not sure what an SimonK esc wire is, but generally, higher ampacity wire is preferred in most cases, unless of course, it causes some impedance mismatch in the circuit it is being used in.

SimonK Electronic Speed Controller - An electronic speed controller with firmware designed by Simon Kirby.

Thicker wire will not do any harm unless it adds too much weight or it is difficult to connect to either the controller or the motor.

Okay guys, tested the wires and they work fine. Thanks for the help anyway!
