diodes in parallel

    To put diodes in parallel you need to add series resistors.This is in the milliohms. This can be a length of wire.To reduce space ,you coil the wire, you have a inductance This you don't want. If I put one half of the wire turns in each leg of the diode and interwind this will cancel the inductance. You now have current flowing in both directions..Is it ok to put resistance in both legs of a diode ? Need info on this subject.

    There is no reason why you couldn't place a resistance in both legs of the diode.

    Just out of interest, why do you need to put milliOhm resistors in series?
    For current balancing, I'd think you'd need more.
    To worry about inductance (this small) you must be using quite a high frequency and presumably these are power diodes rather than signal diodes?
    Can you not just use a different diode with greater current capacity?
