Diode Cross Reference

Greetings,

I currently use 1N4935 from On Semiconductor (formerly Motorola). This
is a thru-hole diode categorized as "Fast Recovery". I'm trying to
find a surface mount equivalent. I've found a surface mount version
with Central Semiconductor, but it is not the same. I don't have a
curve trace, so I have no idea what property it is that I need to be
exactly the same. I do need 30V minimum. Does anyone know of a good
cross for this? I've got everything else in surface mount and this is
the last part. I'm so close, but yet so far, ha ha. Any help is
appreciated.

Well you probably wouldn't go too far wrong with a possible choice such as
the DL4935 by Diodes incorporated. Digikey sells these.

Oh. That is a MELF packaged device, so it loves to roll around and make
frequent getaways. From a manufacturing standpoint you might prefer
something in SMA or SMB package like the RS1DB also from Diodes inc. and
sold by Digikey.
