    Hi All,

Many years ago I used a 741 chip (and some others that I can't
remember) to create a circuit. Circuit had an antenna (5 inch or so)
and when some one was getting close to it (6 ft or closer) it was
dimming up a 6-volt light (based on how close is the person). I am
awfully rusty with electronic these days. Does anybody know how to
make one of these again or if there is any ready made out there?

    Thanks in advance,

Google capacitive sense and Theriman and you will get some similar ideas.
