Hi guys,

I have a digital multimeter from TTI reference 1604, it was involved in a short circuit with no fuses installed, and now, it's not functioning.
When it's connect it to the power, it makes some noise from its buzzer, and displays random things on its display as you can see.

Where do you guys think is the problem!
Thanks

i was measuring current on a circuit that had a short (sudden huge change of current), furthermore, there was a resistor in series which blew up also.

Have a watch of this video.
It will give you an idea of the type of protection in many meters. It might also give you an idea of what to check.
