    Hello All

I was wondering if anyone has used both the Pelco DF-5 models as well
as the cheaper "all-in-one" Pelco Camclosure models? Have you seen
any quality differences in the cheaper model? If not Pelco, are there
any models of cheaper dome packages that anyone recommends?

    TIA,

    Dave

It depends on your application. There are lots of choices. Are you
installing just one or several? What are you wanting to record too? How do
you want to control it? Outdoor (I assume) What's the application?

They'll basically be monitoring hallways in a hospital. It's not
really bright but okay lighting. We'll be recording to a DVR. I'm
more of a systems guy than a camera guy so I figured I'd see what
    opinions people have here.

    Thanks again,

    Dave

    Re; Pelco domes...

We deal almost exclusively in Pelco,
The main differance between these two cameras is their compatability
to large lenses. The ICS100/150 series have limited space available in
    the camclosure.

If the installation is indoors, go with the ICS series with auto iris
and varifocal lens, you can't mess up with this camera.

    Good Luck
