    Hi all,

I need to know the difference between RV1 and RV2 resistors for a (school) project I'm doing. The internet has been no help for this. I know they're both variable resistors, but could someone please explain the difference to me?

    Thanks

Sounds like numbers they have been assigned. Pretty common for schematics to have components numbered (e.g., for three transistors - Q1, Q2, Q3, three resistors - R1, R2, R3, two diodes - D1, D2, etc.) Usually the value or part # is included also.

    agree with signalman72

for deeper explanation you would have to give us specifics of the circuit you are referring to
So far you have given us no information to go on
