Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience with Dialysis machines? Since Mrs. Woodrough
passed on we've an expensive unit standing idle in a corner.

A perfect solution would be to use it to filter a large aquarium - does
anyone
have tips on how to make the necessary conversions?

Best wishes

How much do you want for it? Seriously.

That sounds like quite a waste especially when there are so many people out
there who dearly need one and don't have the money for one. I am sure that
you could sell it very cheaply and buy enough aquarium filters to filter a
small lake.
Please consider this.

I would recommend changing the filter to something more suited
for large debris.

The last one of these I converted I used an air filter from a 1978
Ford Escort.

Helga;
Sorry about Mrs. Woodrough.

Didn't you ask us how to convert a water softner into a dialysis machine
a few months back? Is this the same unit?

Have you considered donating the machine (I think they cost about $25,000)
and taking a tax write-off that would probably buy you a tank, fish and
state of the art filtration system? Talk to your tax person or CPA....sorry
about your loss....Ross

I don't consder housekeeper a troll. Just a source of
entertainment. However, FEerguy9, now there's a troll.

I kinda like the housekeeper, adds a bit of fun to this NG. But
unfortunately, the material being used isn't as funny as it once was, and
the replies are getting fewer and fewer...(

Hello everyone, forgive me for interrupting ...

My...I done been had!....

Me too! Goodness, I never realised there were so many people with the same
name as me, particularly in the 'care' industry! It seems to be as popular
there as 'Bob' is to building, and Fireman-being is to 'Sam'.

I know several of my ex-colleagues changes their names when they migrated to
South America from their homes in Germany. I suppose they may have all
thought it amusing to name themselves me ...
