desing. tailgate up/down automatic control

    i want to built a position sensor and control for a truck´s tailgate, this its a basic layaout.
    any opinion or recommendation are welcome.

    Insufficient information:
    - which of the switches are the sensors, which are the controls?
    - What are the inputs to the flipflops (clock, set, reset, ...)?
    - What are the outputs of the flipflops supposed to indicate or control?

    A short description of how the tailgate control is supposed to work will help incredibly in analysing your 'circuit'.

    Why use inverters after S1 and S2? tie the switches to GND instead and remove the inverters.
    Add pull-Up or Pull-down Resistors (depending on the logic) to the gates that have switches at their inputs to avoid floating inputs.

    thanks for your observations. i´ll try to solve all.
    this its the first part of the whole proyect the sensor and control circuit, the second part (next post) develop the power circuit.

    here it´s a new basic layaout with all the info
    posible and a truth table (table01) for a better perspective.

    the FF are asincronous i want to remark the sensor used and the basic layaut, are my personal creation. i´ll post the way to built it. I work on the final layaut with resistor, capacitor, ect. PD: short description it´s coming on.
