I overvolted a Canon Ultura digital camcorder by accidently plugging a
laptop computer AC adapter into it (yes, I AM an idiot!)

Anyway, the camcorder is now totally dead. Is there a fuse or
something in there that was blown? Will it be worth fixing?

Thanks,

Jeff

It's certainly worth fixing. It's not a DIY project though. Take it to a
reputable repair shop for an estimate.

Sometimes there is, other times some part in the power supply will act as a
fuse. If you don't have good vision (tiny parts) and excellent soldering
skills leave it to a pro though.
