Is there an international/continental DC wiring standard for devices?

Here in the states, it's governed by NFPA 79 and UL508A.

The short story is blue for ungrounded DC control circuits and white with a blue stripe for the current carrying grounded DC conductor.

its for a piece of lab equipment, its mostly OEM equipment inside, and thus needs hooking up to supplies.

It'd be benefical if it was all done to some sort of DC wiring regs, but if you google for answers its all very ambigiuos, panel wiring for example: comes back with LOADs of results, all not relevant.

So are there any DC standards to adhere to for Lab equipment with OEM equipment inside?

OEM's pretty much do what they want when it comes to color codes.
