What voltage and power do you want?
There are many circuits and chips depending on the application.

The voltage alone does not give the power. What amperage? Or power in Watts.
What frequency do you want? What waveform is required (sinusoidal, or can a rectangular waveform do)? Is isolation required?

can you get a tunable waveform if not ill use square wave and for the amps about as much as a nine volt battery is

A nine volt battery does not specify amperage, a battery will supply amperage until it pukes and the internal resistance kicks in, that is a pretty significant amount but only for a very short period...

Typical drain of a 9V battery is only 10-20mA

If your current requirements are that low, I would just use a simple 555 timer circuit and pulsed DC if that works for your application...
