    Hi,

I have found dc power jacks have options of 1.1mm, 1.3mm, 2.5mm, etc.
How do I select whether I should choose which one? I prefer to use
small one as it has small footprint. But if concerning the maximum
    current, how to choose?

    Thanks!

I tend to use one that matches the majority of PSs. That seems to be 2.1 mm
for the ones with fixed connectors.

small one as it has small footprint. But if concerning the maximum

Usually in the datasheet it will give the maximum ratings.

  4. Choose what you like, I don't think there is any standard. 2.1mm
is very common, but if your gadget is small, it's bit large.

Universal adapters that come with a bunch of plugs often don't
have the 2.5mm plug, I have noticed.
