    Dear all,

Is it possible to produce an AC signal from the rotation of a DC electric motor? The input of the electric motor would be used as an output, and the motor would eventually work more like a generator.

    Thank you,
    zeZinho_maluKo

If you remove the commutator it will. (assuming it has one)

They don't wind DC motors differently than AC ones do they? I'm trying to remember my electric machines course
